The discipline Histology, embryology, cytology focuses on

- form an idea of the principles and features of the manufacture of micropreparations on the basis of demonstration and discussion with microscopy of microobjects to develop diagnostic skills in the process of studying all sections of histology;

- to develop and form ideas of an applied nature in the study of the cytological foundations of cellular, noncellular and post-cellular forms by quantitative and topographic signs of distribution, which determine the functional features of structures at the light-optical level, as well as an electron microscopic equivalent;

- develop thinking while discussing the theoretical foundations of the structure, development and functioning of tissues in conjunction with micro-scoping and selective sketching of fragments of organs and their structural and functional units;

- to form students' ideas about the morphological manifestations of adaptive capabilities at the cellular, tissue and organ levels of the body to the effects of various extreme factors;

- motivated to form basic knowledge in histology, cytology and embryology with the identification of structures at the microscopic and ultramicroscopic levels for the successful mastering of related disciplines frontally realizing ideas about the pathogenesis of diseases and their outcome, paying special attention to the characteristics of childhood;

to form students' skills in working with educational and scientific literature, modern information systems, skills in analytical and research activities;

- to develop interest, independence and activity in the learning process of students as an argument for effective adaptation and quality of education;

- to form a culture of mental work, broaden horizons, educate professionally significant personal properties and morality.
